Brian Hartigan - The Big Irish Git - began an interest in desktop publishing in Townsville, producing three well-received journals for 162 Reconnaissance Squadron

He quickly developed newspaper and magazine production skills, progressing from basic photojournalist to acting sub editor at Army Newspaper Unit from 1998 to 2002

In 2004, Brian embarked on a major new publishing project as owner/managing editor of CONTACT Air Land and Sea. This exciting new magazine is now available in Australian newsagents and several countries overseas. It is a quarterly magazine highlighting the work, conditions and equipment enjoyed by soldiers, sailors and airmen everywhere - but especially Australia
