Brian Hartigan - the Big Irish Git - has been a long-time photograpy enthusiast

At age 10 he bought his first camera - a Kodak instomatic - with which he dabbled in landscape, portraiture and still life. Various cameras followed as the experiments continued

He recently purchased his current kit - a Nikon D100 - which he carried through Scotland, Ireland, London and Germany on a recent photo-tourist expidition. This trip netted more than 3000 images, a selection of which are on display here.

More recently he captured more than 8000 photos in five weeks as the official photographer to the Australian Federal Police contingent in the Solomon Islands. You can view a selection of these photos here
